This year United Good Neighbors will celebrate our 60th year of serving the needs of the people of Jefferson County and we are excited to announce a new opportunity for United Good Neighbors (UGN). UGN and the Jefferson County Community Foundation (JCCF) have been sharing office space and staff since 2012. In 2017 we are joining forces to become one organization – the Jefferson Community Foundation.
Why now? After four years of sharing staff and office space, we are confident we will be more effective as one organization that can help drive philanthropy and volunteer engagement in Jefferson County. We will be better able to serve the needs of our donors, our volunteers, our community and our nonprofits. Together, we will be more efficient, expand our reach, and increase our impact by understanding and embracing trends in society, technology and the community. UGN will continue to mobilize the caring power of donors, volunteers and the community to support the vital human services our nonprofit partners provide; and JCCF will continue to strengthen our community through engaged long term philanthropy.
For 60 years UGN has been communicating the value of our partner agencies to the community and helping to raise the funds necessary for you to continue your work. UGN will continue to serve you under the name and logo of United Good Neighbors. Our focus on a community campaign and a community driven allocations process will not change.
