JC MASH
Volunteer-driven, JC MASH is a non-profit clinic, that offers open access, no cost medical treatment in Jefferson County. It is the only program of its kind in the county. In addition to on-site medical attention and prescriptions, JC MASH also offers health care education, referrals to other providers for further treatment, and follow-up support and advocacy for patients.
It’s Port Townsend clinic has operated since 1996. In 2009, JC MASH opened a second clinic in Port Hadlock to better serve the Tri-Area.
More than 500 neighbors are served by JC MASH. They approach the clinic for treatment because they have basic medical issues, and for a variety of reasons (largely economic) are unable to access the traditional medical system.
