Emergency Winter Shelter
During the winter season, a temporary emergency shelter for single adults in Port Townsend is made possible through a partnership between COAST (Community Outreach Association Shelter Team), several local churches, other community partners and OlyCAP. (No religious services are offered at the shelter).
The shelter is located at the American Legion Hall basement at 209 Monroe Street. Check in is between 4 pm and 5 pm daily, and meals are provided. Last year, the shelter operated 100 days and accounted for 1550 bed nights of emergency shelter for neighbors in need.
