Jefferson County Public Health – Family Planning
UGN helps provide founding to Jefferson County Public Health department to provide family planning clinical services to individuals who don’t have private insurance, and do not qualify for any state or federal program.
JCPH provides clinical, education and outreach, and prevention services to each family planning client, with the objective to reduce sexually transmitted diseases, reduce unintended pregnancies, and encourage better reproductive health.
UGN funding helps maintain clinical services at the public health office, and at the two school-based clinics located at both Chimacum and Port Townsend High Schools.
